What’s Your Feedback?
While testing the forum functionality, I discovered a bug related to reply counting:
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Post a reply to any topic
2.Reply count updates from 0 to 1 ![]()
3.Delete the reply you just posted
4.Reply count still shows 1
(Expected: should return to 0)
5.Click into the topic, you’ll see a “user deleted comment” placeholder
Screenshots (if applicable)
Why Is This Important?
1.Data Inconsistency
•Reply count should reflect the actual number of existing replies
•Current behavior causes mismatch between count and actual content
2.Misleading Users
•Users see “1 reply” and click to view
•But only find a “user deleted comment” placeholder with no actual content
•This creates a poor user experience
3.Compounds Other Issues
•If users accidentally post and immediately delete, topics will permanently show “1 reply” with no actual content
•This is especially problematic in sections like FAQs, where it misleads users into thinking someone has responded
Suggested Solution (optional)
Complete Removal After Deletion
•When users delete their own replies, reply count should decrease by 1
•Do not keep “user deleted comment” placeholder
•If reply count becomes 0 after deletion, topic list should show 0
