  • Open and Welcoming – Interact in ways that foster a positive, diverse, and healthy community.

Language Policy

Code of Conduct

Civil Discussion

  • Treat the forum like a public space. Be polite and considerate.

  • Search before posting. If a similar topic exists, contribute to that discussion rather than starting a new one.

  • When disagreeing, address ideas rather than attacking the person. Avoid insults, mockery or provocations.

Improve the Conversation

  • Make sure your posts add value. If you’re unsure, review and revise before submitting.

  • Listen to others, respect their viewpoints, and communicate clearly to avoid misunderstandings.

Active Participation

  • Our community’s tone comes from its members. Engage in thoughtful discussions, help others, and share your knowledge to make the forum more valuable.

  • Use forum tools like likes, bookmarks, and flags to highlight good contributions and improve the overall experience.

Flagging Problems

  • If you see inappropriate content, don’t respond to it. Use the “flag” feature to alert moderators.

  • Moderators may remove any content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.

Always Be Civil

  • Do not post anything a reasonable person would find offensive, abusive or hateful. Keep language and images free of obscenity.

  • Respect others. Do not harass, impersonate or expose someone’s private information.

  • Respect the forum. Avoid spam and vandalism.

Keep Things Organized

  • Post in the correct category, don’t cross‑post the same topic, and avoid “+1” or empty replies.

  • Don’t derail discussions by changing topics mid‑thread.

  • Don’t add signatures or advertisements to your posts.

Share Original Content

  • Only post material you have the right to share. Do not publish other people’s work or private information without permission.

  • Don’t encourage illegal activities or share pirated content.

Thanks for the cool platform!
Are you aiming to move community support from Discord to this forum?

I had a quick chat with you in DM, but if that’s the case, I hope support won’t be limited to only English, and that there could be different language-specific categories for getting help.

Thanks!

Hello @kurokobo, thank you very much for your feedback. We are considering enabling automatic translation so that any content can be translated into the user’s preferred language set in their settings.

For example, if a user in Japan posts a tutorial in Japanese and I have my preference set to English, I would first see the translated version while still having the option to view the original. Do you think this would be a better approach?

@lysonober
Thanks, so, are you suggesting that instead of preparing language-specific categories, we enable automatic translation so that everyone can write in their own language in the same place?

I never knew that such an interesting feature had become generally available, and I think it’s a really fascinating challenge :tada:
However, even though I’ve used other Discourse platforms before, I’ve never experienced a situation where multiple languages were mixed together in the same categories, so I’m not sure if this kind of culture would be well received by users from different countries.

Thanks for your suggestion! Let’s do a small experiment, maybe next week we’ll open both the language-specific categories and automatic translation at the same time to see everyone’s preference. After the discussion I’ll let you know the progress here asap :folded_hands:

By the way, does the “Discussion” category also serve as a place where people can post questions hoping for support from the community?
If so, how about enabling the “Solved” plugin so that we can easily tell at a glance in the list whether an issue has been resolved?

Good idea!
Maybe @lysonober could help with that.
